"Willy Wonka" to be school play March 25-27

So far, there have been four golden ticket winners confirmed from candy sales this weekend.  Sam Sharpe, Steven Pontious, Paul Merillat, and Marty Tungate will all enjoy a front row view of Hudson High School’s production of Willy Wonka.  This year’s all-school play is the stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and features the songs and music from the family film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The play will be presented March 25, 26, and 27 at 7:00 pm in the middle school gym, with a Sunday, March 28 matinee at 3:00.  General admission tickets are $5.00 and are sold at the door beginning 45 minutes before each performance.  There are a limited number of reserved front row seats available for $10.  These may  be purchased during play practice from 4-6 Monday thru Wednesday.  Make plans now to enjoy the talents of our local high school students.

The cast members will be selling candy with a chance to win more golden tickets this weekend at the Market House.  There are five golden tickets for each show available, and the winners will  receive free admission with front-row seating in special, designated chairs.
